Can you trust a psychic reading? Can You Trust A Psychic Reading? By Dyan Garris

It may be hard to trust a psychic reading. In this day and age online scams abound, especially in the arena of live psychic readings. It used to be that not so long ago psychic ability was frowned upon and psychics were not as mainstream as they are today. Now, it seems as if everyone you know is a psychic doesn’t it?  Psychic reading sites are everywhere now on the Internet. Could there possibly be that many psychics in the world? Can you actually trust a psychic reading?

Here are some tips to avoid getting scammed in your foray into the world of live online psychic readings: Let’s say you’ve come across a website offering live psychic readings. At first glance it may look good. But who are these psychic readers and have they been tested by the owner of the site – or by anyone – for real psychic ability? Or are they just “talking heads” without one shred of real psychic ability? Are they reading from a script? Flipping cards? Are they playing you? Should you trust them?

At any psychic reading website, you will first be asked to make an account before you will be able to speak with a psychic or psychic advisor, and deposit funds from your credit card or debit card into that account.  If you don’t do that, you obviously can’t call one of the psychics.  So it’s important to know who you are dealing with and exactly who you’re giving your information to. Is your information encrypted? Or is it being transmitted in whole to whomever is in charge of the site? Is that person visible to you as a real person or do they go by only their first name or perhaps they just go by “admin?” If so, why are they hiding? Without proper security, it may not be wise to trust that site.

Can you Google the owner and see what else they are up to?  Is the owner psychic themselves, do they have any real interest in psychics or spirituality, or helping people move forward on the path, or are they perhaps out to make a quick buck in an area where there is SO much abuse of the general public?  Since you’re going to be giving your sensitive, private information to someone, it’s a good idea to know exactly who that someone is and what they are about.  Anyone can put up a website. But who are they?

It is also paramount that you know what the policies of the psychic site are. Is there a membership agreement? Is there a membership fee? Have the psychics been tested for real psychic ability? Or can just anyone sign up and dispense advice and flip cards? Is there a customer service contact? What is the refund policy? Can you leave feedback? What is the policy if you get scammed, i.e., fall victim to what is known as the ‘curse scam?’ What happens if your money doesn’t go into your account? Is there a real person behind the curtain?

If you got solicited by email to call a psychic reading site, how did that site get your email address? Did you opt into their newsletter? Did someone sell your information? Was your information stolen? These are some of the things to find out and think about before you call ANY psychic reading site for a live psychic reading.

Don’t be afraid to trust your own gut feeling about a particular psychic or psychic phone network. Often that is your best measure. If something feels off, it most probably is. Keep in mind too, that just because someone is able to tell you what you already know, this does not make them a psychic. A real psychic will also be able to tell you things you do not know yet and particularly things that they could not have known by ordinary means. And these things may not make sense to you at the time of psychic reading, so keep that in mind. It’s only in hindsight that we can see the predictions of the future come true.

Sometimes, unfortunately, we just want to hear whatever we want to hear because we are attached to outcomes. When a psychic tells you the truth, rather than things you want to hear simply because you’re attached to outcome, then you can trust in the reading. The entire psychic reading process – a real psychic reading – can yield very helpful guidance. It can also be fun and entertaining to get online psychic readings because you have opportunity to find out so many things, sometimes surprising things that you don’t already know, and upcoming things that you need to know to help guide you on the path as well.

Keep track of the predictions made in a live psychic reading. Write them down so you can refer to them in a few months. Take notes. That way you’ll know if you are receiving accurate information from your live psychic reading or just a bunch of hooey from people looking to make a quick buck and disappear into the dark night from whence they came.
